We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Orthotic Fitter/Pedorthist to join our client’s team in Sacramento. This is a great opportunity located in the capital of California with a rich history dating back to the Gold Rush era. Our client is a dynamic healthcare organization specializing in orthotic and prosthetic solutions. They are committed to enhancing the lives of individuals through customized care, our client is at the forefront of delivering cutting-edge solutions to meet the diverse needs of patients.
Responsibilities:
-Conduct thorough assessments to understand patients' foot conditions, gait patterns, and medical histories.
-Provide expert consultations to guide patients in selecting appropriate orthotic footwear and devices.
-Perform fittings for custom and off-the-shelf orthotic devices and footwear.
-Make necessary adjustments and modifications to ensure optimal fit, comfort, and functionality.
Orthotic Footwear Selection:
-Stay informed about the latest trends and technologies in orthotic footwear.
-Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, documenting assessments, recommendations, and follow-up care.
-Ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies.
-Work collaboratively with physicians, podiatrists, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate comprehensive patient care.
-Participate in multidisciplinary discussions to contribute to patient treatment plans.
-Stay current on advancements in podiatry, pedorthics, and orthotics through continuous education and training.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as an Orthotic Fitter/Pedorthist with a strong understanding of orthotic footwear and devices.
